The Licensing Model

 

BowBuddy is licensed for use on a single nominated pda. The license will remain valid for the life of the pda and will be inclusive of all software upgrades and patches for the respective major version covered by the license.

 

For each license purchased, the registered owner is entitled to apply for a single transfer after a minimum period of six months has elapsed. Under these terms, the existing software must be removed from the original device.

 

In the event that the original device needs to be replaced or refurbished under warranty, and there is documentary evidence to support this, we will arrange for a transfer of the existing license, which will be exempt from the above conditions.

 

Major and Minor Versions

 

All releases of BowBuddy will have a major and minor version number, where the first number signifies the major version, and the subsequent number the minor version. A major version release would usually require significant alterations to the core functionality of the software, whilst minor versions are likely to comprsise of bug fixes and enhancement requests.
